TEREA Sticks

TEREA is the tobacco stick made by Philip Morris International for the IQOS ILUMA range. Each stick holds a metal element sealed inside it, and the device heats that element by induction rather than pushing a blade into the tobacco. Nothing burns, so there is no ash and no smoke, and the device never needs cleaning.

We stock TEREA from five markets: Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Japan, Armenia and the UAE. Philip Morris blends TEREA separately for each country rather than shipping one recipe worldwide, so a pack of Amber from Armenia does not taste identical to a pack of Amber from Kazakhstan. Some ranges carry flavours that exist nowhere else. Delivery runs across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE, usually within two hours.

Before you order: check your device

TEREA works only with IQOS ILUMA devices. That includes ILUMA, ILUMA ONE, ILUMA PRIME, and the newer ILUMA i, ILUMA i ONE and ILUMA i PRIME.

TEREA does not work with IQOS ORIGINALS, IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3 MULTI or any earlier IQOS generation. Those devices use a heating blade, and TEREA sticks have no space for one. Forcing a TEREA stick into a blade device can damage it.

If you own an older IQOS, you need HEETS instead. If you are not sure which device you have, look for a blade inside the holder. A blade means HEETS. No blade means TEREA.

Kazakhstan

The Kazakhstan range is where the capsule sticks live. Tidal Pearl, Starling Pearl, Provence Pearl, Twilight Pearl and Sun Pearl all carry a crushable bead in the filter, so you get a plain tobacco session until you click it and a flavoured one afterwards. One pack effectively gives you two experiences.

It also has two flavours worth knowing about even if capsules are not for you. Green Zing is a green tea and citrus profile with light menthol, which does not exist in any other range we stock. Ruby Fuse is a raspberry stick with no menthol at all, which is rare in a catalogue where almost every fruit flavour comes with cooling attached.

Indonesia

Indonesia is the only market where Philip Morris blends TEREA with cengkeh, the clove used in traditional kretek cigarettes. Seven variants in this range are clove based: Scarlet, Minago, Emerald, Auburn, Berrine, Mulint and Golden. Nothing comparable is sold anywhere else, which is why this range moves fastest with customers who used to smoke kretek.

The range also carries Dimensions, the premium line built around more layered flavour concepts. Yugen pairs pear with lavender and jasmine tea. Apricity works with apricot, vanilla and a caramel finish. Both are produced in Indonesia and reach the UAE through import rather than through IQOS UAE.

At 20 packs this is our largest range, and it covers everything from the heaviest classics to high intensity menthols.

Japan

Japanese TEREA uses descriptive names rather than colours. Instead of Amber and Sienna you get Regular, Rich Regular, Smooth Regular, Warm Regular and Balanced Regular, and the menthols are named the same way.

That naming reflects how the range is built. Philip Morris blends specifically for Japanese palates, which means noticeably less sweetness than the other ranges and more attention to the tobacco itself. If you want depth and complexity from a classic stick rather than fruit or cooling, this is the range to look at. Rich Regular in particular has a malt note that nothing else in our catalogue matches.

Japan also has Ruby Regular, a raspberry flavour with no menthol, and two capsule sticks in Oasis Pearl and Sun Pearl.

One note: TEREA Bold Regular has been discontinued in Japan and is no longer part of the official line-up. We list it while remaining stock lasts.

Armenia

Six packs, all core flavours: Amber, Silver, Sienna, Yellow, Turquoise and Purple Wave. There are no capsules, no Dimensions and no experimental blends here.

The reason to buy Armenian rather than Kazakh stock comes down to how the blends differ. Armenian Amber runs milder than the Kazakh version, and Armenian Sienna comes through denser and fuller. If you already know you like one of those two and want a specific weight to it, the origin matters.

Armenian packs carry health warnings printed in Armenian, which is the quickest way to confirm what you have received.

UAE

This is the range IQOS sells officially in the Emirates. Ten of our thirteen UAE packs come from that official catalogue: Amber, Silver, Yellow, Sienna, Teak and Bronze on the classic side, Blue and Turquoise for menthol, Purple Wave for berry, and Summer Breeze, which pairs peach and floral notes with menthol.

The other three are the Dimensions variants, Yugen, Apricity and Ammil. These are produced in Indonesia and are not part of the official UAE catalogue, so availability moves with import supply rather than with local stock.

Delivery and payment

We deliver across the UAE, usually within two hours in Dubai. Shipping is free on orders above 200 AED. You can pay by card on delivery or in cash. Orders placed between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM are dispatched the same day, seven days a week.

Common questions

Can I use TEREA in my IQOS 3 DUO? 

No. TEREA needs an ILUMA device. Use HEETS in an IQOS 3 DUO.

How many sticks are in a pack? 

Twenty sticks per pack. A carton holds ten packs, which is 200 sticks.

Is one country’s TEREA better than another’s? 

No. They are blended differently for different markets, not to different standards. The right range is the one with the flavour profile you want.

Why does the same flavour name taste different between countries? 

Philip Morris adjusts blends for local preferences. Amber, Sienna, Blue and Purple Wave appear in several ranges and are not identical across them.

Do the Pearl sticks have to be clicked? 

No. Left unclicked they run as a normal tobacco stick. The capsule is there if you want it.
