TEREA Yellow From UAE
TEREA Yellow Kazakhstan
TEREA Yellow Menthol Japan
Yellow is the citrus side of the TEREA catalogue, and it exists at three completely different cooling levels. One of them has no cooling at all.
That is the thing to sort out before you order. Plain Yellow is a light tobacco stick with a citrus note and nothing cold in it whatsoever. Yellow Menthol is a genuine menthol. Black Yellow Menthol sits in the top cooling tier.
Same word, three quite different sticks.
Yellow describes the citrus, not the cooling
The rule is simple once you see it, and it holds across the whole catalogue.
Yellow on its own means light tobacco with a citrus aroma. No menthol. Philip Morris files it under a zesty profile, and zesty here refers to the aroma rather than to any cooling sensation.
Yellow Menthol adds the cooling. The Japanese version harmonises citrus and herb aromas over a refreshing menthol base, and the herbal layer is what keeps it from tasting like a simple lemon stick.
Black Yellow Menthol takes that same citrus and removes the herbal cushion, letting the fruit and a top-tier cold hit at full strength. It is the sharpest session in the whole cooling range.
So the word Yellow tells you the aroma direction. The word Menthol, or its absence, tells you whether there is any cold involved.
Buying plain Yellow expecting a fresh hit is one of the two most common ordering mistakes we deal with. Silver is the other one, for the same reason.
What plain Yellow tastes like
Bright rather than heavy. The tobacco underneath is mild and sits at the light end of the classic range, and the citrus note is what gives it definition.
That citrus reads as lemon and bergamot rather than as fruit sweetness. It is a lift, not a flavour in its own right, and it stays subtle enough that Yellow still tastes like a tobacco stick rather than a flavoured one.
The finish is short and clean, with nothing building across a session. What makes Yellow unusual is that it delivers genuine refreshment without using any menthol to get there, which is a narrow space in the catalogue and the reason it appeals to people who actively dislike cooling.
Mornings suit it, and so does warm weather. It works alongside food where a heavier stick would compete.
Yellow or Silver
These two are the light end of the classic range and the comparison most buyers on this page are making.
Both are mild tobaccos with no cooling. They differ in aroma rather than in strength. Silver is dry and herbal, with a faintly savoury character over hay and grain notes. Yellow is brighter, with the citrus lift doing the work instead.
Neither is stronger than the other. Pick Yellow if you want brightness and Silver if you want dryness. If you find both too light, Amber is the middle of the classic range.
The citrus ladder
If you want the Yellow direction with cooling, there are two steps up.
Yellow Menthol sits at moderate cooling. Citrus and herb together over the cold, layered enough that no single note dominates. This is the balanced version and the one most people settle on if they want citrus menthol.
Black Yellow Menthol is the intensified version. The herbal layer comes off, the citrus goes bright and sharp, and the menthol runs at the top tier alongside the other Black variants. Bracing is the right word for it, and it is not a first menthol.
Both are Japanese, which means they sit at the premium end of our pricing. Neither is carried in the official UAE range.
The five we stock
Plain Yellow comes from three ranges. The UAE edition is the official local release with Arabic and English packaging, and the most expensive of the three. Kazakhstan sits mid-price and comes from our largest range, sixteen flavours including five Pearl capsule variants. Armenia is the cheapest and comes from a short six-flavour range carrying only proven sellers.
The cooling versions are both Japanese. Yellow Menthol and Black Yellow Menthol exist only in that range and are priced accordingly.
Differences between the three plain Yellows are subtle. Philip Morris tunes blends per market, but on a stick this light there is less to tune, and price is by far the bigger variable. That price gap comes from tobacco excise in each source market rather than from anything inside the pack.
Which one should you buy
If you want a light tobacco with no cooling and price matters, Armenia.
If you want the same thing with room to order other flavours alongside it, Kazakhstan.
If packaging language matters or the pack is a gift, the UAE edition.
If you want citrus with cooling, Yellow Menthol from Japan, and accept the premium.
If you already know moderate cooling is not enough, Black Yellow Menthol.
If you are not sure whether you want cooling at all, buy a pack of plain Yellow and a pack of Turquoise. That answers the question for good and costs less than committing to a carton of either.
Devices, format and storage
Twenty sticks per pack, 200 per carton across ten packs, with cartons cheaper per stick. A session runs up to six minutes or fourteen puffs.
All of these need induction heating. IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA ONE and ILUMA PRIME, the whole ILUMA i series, and the LAMBDA i8, i9 and i10. They will not heat in an IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS, lil, LAMBDA T3 or LAMBDA CC, because those use a heating blade and TEREA has no space for one. Those devices take HEETS.
Storage matters more here than on almost any other flavour page. Citrus notes flatten before anything else does, faster than menthol and much faster than woody or nutty aromas. A pack of Yellow that has spent a summer in a parked car will still smoke, but the brightness that makes it worth buying will be largely gone. Keep packs sealed, cool and out of direct sun, and buy in smaller quantities if you cannot store a carton properly.
The same applies to Yellow Menthol, where the citrus fades first and leaves the cold behind.

Frequently asked questions
Is Yellow a menthol?
No. Plain Yellow is a light tobacco with a citrus aroma and no cooling at all. Yellow Menthol and Black Yellow Menthol are the cooling versions, and both are Japanese.
Yellow or Silver?
Both are light tobaccos with no cooling. Yellow is brighter with a citrus lift, Silver is dry and herbal. They differ in aroma, not in strength.
Which Yellow has the most cooling?
Black Yellow Menthol, which sits in the top cooling tier alongside the other Black variants.
Is Yellow Menthol just Yellow with menthol added?
Not exactly. The Japanese Yellow Menthol adds a herbal layer alongside the citrus as well as the cooling, so it is a fuller profile rather than the same stick with cold on top.
Is any of the cooling range in the official UAE catalogue?
No. Yellow Menthol and Black Yellow Menthol are Japan only. Plain Yellow is in the UAE range, and Turquoise is the official UAE menthol.
Why does the same Yellow cost different amounts?
Tobacco excise in the market each pack was made for. The stick, the tobacco and the heating element inside are the same in all three.
