Three TEREA sticks carry the word Green, and they are not variations of each other. Two of them are genuinely different flavour concepts that happen to share a word, and the third is an intensified version of one of them.

That is worth sorting out before you order, because the names suggest a ladder that does not exist.

Green is not one flavour

Here is what each one actually is.

Green is a strong cooling menthol carrying a green fruit aroma, closer to green apple than anything else. The cold leads and the fruit brightens it. This is a menthol stick.

Green Zing is a green tea profile with a citrus lift and a softer menthol underneath. The cooling is deliberately restrained here, and the character is herbal rather than icy. It is not a stronger Green or a weaker Green. It is a different idea.

Black Green is the intensified version of Green. Same green fruit direction, considerably more cooling, sitting in TEREA’s top intensity tier.

So the only genuine ladder here runs Green to Black Green. Green Zing sits off to one side and is the one most likely to surprise you, in either direction.

What each one tastes like

Green puts the cold first and holds it there. The menthol is bracing and direct from the opening draw, and the green fruit note sits on top with a crisp, slightly tart brightness that stops the stick reading as purely medicinal. The tobacco base underneath gives it enough weight that the chill has something to sit against. Cleaner and sharper than Blue, which leans creamy and peppermint-led by comparison.

Green Zing works differently. It opens with a zesty herbal freshness rather than a mint hit, the green tea character supplies a mild tannic dryness through the middle, and the menthol underneath supports rather than dominates. Invigorating without being aggressive. It is one of the few cooling sticks that genuinely tastes of something other than mint, and it has a loyal following because nothing else in the catalogue is quite like it.

Black Green takes Green’s structure and turns the cooling up to the top tier. The menthol arrives immediately and does not fade across the session, producing a sharp chill through the throat and up into the nasal passage, with the green fruit holding on above it. The difference between Green and Black Green is real rather than marginal.

At the gentle end, Mint balances light cooling against visible tobacco, and Blue is softer than it sounds because the peppermint and creamy notes round the edges.

In the middle, Menthol is the classic cold-first profile, and Green Zing sits here too, though sideways rather than in line, because its freshness is herbal rather than minty.

At the strong end, Turquoise is the reference point for most buyers here since it is carried in three ranges, and Green sits alongside it with more bite and a fruitier edge.

At the top, Black Green joins the rest of the Black tier, which shares one cooling level and differs only in what aroma sits above it.

Which one should you buy

• If you want a strong, clean menthol with a fruit lift and you find Blue too soft, Green.
• If you want cooling but you are tired of everything tasting like mint, Green Zing. It is the most distinctive stick on this page and the one people either love or return.
• If Green already works for you and you keep wishing it went further, Black Green.
• If you are new to menthol, none of these. Turquoise or Mint will tell you whether you like the direction, and both cost less than the Indonesian and Kazakh imports.

Where they come from and what they cost

Green and Black Green are both Indonesian. That range sits at the lower end of our pricing, and it is also the only place in the world TEREA is blended with clove, so ordering from it puts seven kretek-style editions within reach on the same order.

Green Zing is Kazakh, and it does not exist in any other range we buy from. Kazakhstan sits mid-price and carries the widest capsule selection, four Pearl variants, if you want to explore beyond this page.

Neither is carried in the official UAE range, so if packaging language matters to you, this branch of the catalogue will not have what you want. Turquoise is the closest equivalent in official UAE stock.

The price differences across ranges come from tobacco excise in the source market rather than from anything inside the pack.

Devices and format

Twenty sticks per pack, 200 per carton across ten packs, with cartons cheaper per stick. A session runs up to six minutes or fourteen puffs.

All three need induction heating. IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA ONE and ILUMA PRIME, the whole ILUMA i series, and the LAMBDA i8, i9 and i10. They will not heat in an IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS, lil, LAMBDA T3 or LAMBDA CC, because those use a blade and TEREA has no space for one. Those devices take HEETS.

One practical note that applies to Black Green in particular. At that cooling level the menthol carries into the next stick, so leave a minute between sessions and longer before switching to a plain tobacco variant.

Storing them in this climate

Heat flattens citrus and herbal notes faster than it flattens anything else, which makes Green Zing the most vulnerable stick on this page. Keep packs sealed, out of direct sun, and out of a parked car. Green and Black Green hold up better because menthol is more durable, but none of them improve with a summer in a glovebox.

That is the closest description, with a citrus lift and a mild dryness through the middle. It is the least mint-like cooling stick we sell, which is the whole reason people buy it.

Are any of these in the official UAE range?

 No. Green and Black Green are Indonesian, Green Zing is Kazakh. Turquoise is the nearest official UAE equivalent.

Is Green suitable as a first menthol? 

It is on the strong side for a first one. Turquoise or Mint is an easier starting point, and both cost less.
