IQOS ILUMA Prime Obsidian Black Device

Black is where PRIME’s materials do their most obvious work. On a plastic device, black reads as default; on anodised aluminium with a textured wrap, it reads as deliberate. Obsidian Black is consistently the strongest-selling PRIME finish for exactly that reason.

Underneath the surface sits the standard ILUMA platform: 2380 mAh across Holder and Pocket Charger, two consecutive sessions before the Holder needs recharging, up to 20 uses from a full charge, and Autostart that begins heating on stick insertion and shuts the device down on removal. Heat-up takes around 15 seconds at approximately 350°C.

One practical note that catches people out PRIME accessories are not interchangeable with standard ILUMA accessories. PRIME uses wrap covers and its own holder rings; ILUMA uses snap-on doors and a different ring line. If a customer is upgrading from ILUMA, their existing accessories will not transfer.
